We found Dusty, extremely skinny and drinking out of mud puddles at one of our worksites. He also came to us before we officially started the rescue, so we had no intentions of adopting him out.
After we started the rescue, we were contacted about Dusty, where a young lady had seen him and fell in love. We knew what an amazing cat he turned out to be, and it would be best for him to go to a loving home.
To say that Dusty fits in his new home like a missing puzzle piece would be an understatement! No more than just a few hours after his adoption, Dusty explored the house, met his new dog siblings, and climbed into his new girl's bed to make biscuits. A day later, he's climbed 10ft off the ground to look out the windows and survey his new home.
His new family calls him "incredible".

While we had hoped to have Ace available for adoption, we want to report that his recovery is taking a bit longer than we had anticipated.
Ace's eye is healing wonderfully from the surgery, but the infection from the eye that had worked its way into his nasal cavity and throat is taking a bit longer to shake.
Ace is currently on medication to help treat this viral issue, but until everything is clear, we cannot take him with us to adoption events, nor can we adopt him out to a home.
Fret not! We have a wonderful team at Great Miami Veterinary Care who is helping to get Ace 100% healthy! As soon as he is, we'll let everyone know!
CH stands for cerebellar hypoplasia, a non-progressive neurological disorder in cats that affects their balance, coordination, and fine motor skills. It's also known as wobbly cat syndrome.
CH kittens are difficult to raise, but as adults, they can live long, happy, wobbly lives. Depending on the severity of their condition, CH cats could require very little additional assistance, all the way to life-long care.
CH cats and kittens are extremely unlikely to survive in the wild, but they are the absolute happiest cats in the world.

After months of trapping, catching and chasing cats, we're at a point where we're satisfied with our efforts to help a farm owner spay and neuter all of the cats that have been getting dumped at her barn.
In partnership with Batta Cats, we estimate between 25-35 adult cats were spayed and neutered, along with dozens of kittens rescued and found homes.
TNR programs are an amazing way to reduce the population, control the spread of disease and to give animals a longer, healthier life.
